Ohio Wesleyan University has hosted cross country meets at Liberty Park since the 2009 season. The course is located on Home Road south of Delaware, approximately 6 miles south of Delaware and 8 miles south of the Ohio Wesleyan campus.

The 5000-meter course is mostly flat with some rolling hills.  There is one short but steep hill at the 1000-meter mark.  There is about 300 meters of wooded trail on the last mile.

The 8000-meter course consists of two loops and is the same terrain as the 5000-meter course.

Ohio Wesleyan hosted the North Coast Athletic Conference championship meet at Liberty Park in 2009.  The OWU Invitational also moved to Liberty Park in 2009 and was run concurrently with the Great Lakes Colleges Association championship meet from 2009-13.

From the early 1960s to 2009, Ohio Wesleyan hosted cross country meets at the Methodist Theological School and the Delaware Golf Club. The course was located off US 23, approximately 2 miles south of Delaware and 3 miles south of the Ohio Wesleyan campus, and was the site of the NCAA Division III cross country championships in 1984 and 2005 as well as many All-Ohio championship meets.

Ohio Wesleyan cross country meets prior to the early 1960s usually were run on road courses, with one popular path heading south on Henry Street, east on Olentangy Avenue, and south on Pollock Road before doubling back, with races often finishing on the track at Selby Stadium.
