Commencement Update

Ohio Wesleyan will celebrate Commencement for the Class of 2021 and the Class of 2020 at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, in Selby Stadium. The single ceremony will feature remarks from one student representing the Class of 2021 and one representing the Class of 2020.

Based on new guidelines from local public health officials, each graduate now is able to invite up to four guests. (We will continue to consult with the Delaware Public Health District in case this guideline is changed, and we will share any updates as quickly as possible.)

To accommodate your additional guests, we will be seating family groups of four together with 4 feet of physical distance between groups. Facial coverings still will be required.

Graduates must pre-register so we know how many people will attend and so we may plan appropriate seating. Please refer to the "New details about your May 29 Commencement" email for details on how to add your additional guests or complete the Commencement Participation Form for the first time.

There will be no Commencement Brunch or departmental receptions before or after Commencement. Baccalaureate for the Class of 2021 will be a virtual experience. For family members unable to attend, we will be livestreaming the event on the OWU website.

For additional information check our 2020 FAQ page or our 2021 FAQ page.

For those unable to join us for this special event, we invite you to watch our live Commencement webstream.

We invite you and your family and friends to share photos, videos, and other Commencement-related well wishes by tagging social media posts with #OWU2021.
