Christopher Sponseller '11 was elected partner at Thompson Hine, a full-service business law firm. He is a member of the real estate practice group in Cleveland and was included in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Construction Law. (06/25)


David Stewart '12 joined Zane State College's board of trustees. He is executive vice president at Stewart Glapat Corporation, his family's business established in 1939. David also serves as the president of the board of directors for United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties. (06/25)


Danielle Muzina '13, an artist and educator based in Cleveland, OH, presented the solo art exhibit "Femme in the End Times" at the Bruno David Gallery in St. Louis, MO. In these new additions to her Pink Apocalypse series, she delves further into the rituals, relationships, and acts of care that emerge as survival strategies when structures crumble. Her Pink Apocalypse series was recognized with an Artist Enrichment Grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women. (06/25)


William Thieman '13 published Now and Then, a novel that follows two siblings who are sent away from Nazi Germany to live in Paris during WWII and find themselves on separate paths. (06/25)


Margaret Michicich '19 received her Ph.D. in genetics from Case Western Reserve University in December 2024. Her dissertation described the creation of novel mouse models to study cystic fibrosis. (06/25)

Travis Wall '12 was chosen as the men's head soccer coach at Kenyon College (OH). Before Kenyon, he was the head coach at St. Olaf College (MN). Travis is an inductee in OWU's Athletics Hall of Fame and was named to the NCAC's 2004-2013 All-Decade Team. (7/24)


Kayla Henderson '13 was elected partner at RCO Law. Kayla joined RCO eight years ago and practices in RCO Law's Litigation Practice Group, with an emphasis on defending healthcare providers in medical malpractice and professional liability claims. She also helps healthcare clients respond to licensure and privilege investigations, regulatory issues, and other compliance issues. (7/24)


Rachel Vinciguerra '14 published a chapbook of poetry, "A mass of feathers: love poems," with Bottlecap Press. This is a collection of love poems—to Rachel's grandparents whom she lost within six months of each other, to her body during a painful and hopeful journey with cancer in her 20s, and to her partners in life. Brianna Robinson '15 was selected as a resident artist with the Detroit Opera. She is one of the five resident artists chosen from more than 830 applicants for the 2024-25 season. A soprano, she covered and performed roles including Lucy in Gregory Spears's Fellow Travelers, Lena in Ana Solokovic's Svabda, and several roles in Paul Ruders's The Handmaid's Tale. She recently stepped in as Julie in Omar, Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels's 2023 Pulitzer Prize-winning opera, at Boston Lyric Opera. (11/24)

Sarah Fowler '17 was named head coach of the cross country team at Seton Hill University (PA). She also will serve as an assistant for the track and field teams. Sarah previously was the head cross country coach at Minot State (ND), an assistant coach at Illinois-Springfield, and volunteer assistant at Nebraska. (7/24)


Keaton Leppla '17 was hired as the head varsity football coach of West Holmes (OH) High School. For the past three seasons, he has coached at Wooster High School as the defensive coordinator and associate head coach. (11/24)
