Alexander Sanchez-Claudio '20 was named in Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Chicago's 2025 Leadership Institute Cohort. He currently works as development services coordinator for Center on Halsted, where he has helped refine development operations processes to maximize fundraising efforts for programs and services that help LGBTQ+ Chicagoans in need. Jasmine Spitzer '21 releases debut live album, Here. In February, she took the stage at Ginger Rabbit, a Columbus (OH) jazz bar, and recorded the album, which explores her journey through depression, rescuing her dog, sobriety, and finding a home in Columbus. (06/26)
Abigail Adaway '23 was named head coach for Archbishop Hoban High School's (OH) swimming and diving program. A 2019 graduate from Hoban, she was a member of the varsity swimming and diving team and was their captain during her junior and senior seasons. (06/25)
Zachary Smith '23 is serving in the Peace Corps in Nepal. (06/26)
Emily LeTourneau Gilliam '24 was named to Licking County's 20 Under 40 list in December 2024. She is the owner of 2nd Street Market & The Archive in downtown Newark, OH. She also serves on the board of the Downtown Newark Association, which works to support local businesses and community growth. (06/25)
Brynn Blackstone '25 was awarded the Dr. James Sheehan Pre-Service Social Studies Teacher Award. This award is meant to honor outstanding social studies university students, and OWU professor Sarah Kaka nominated Brynn. Brynn is a first-year teacher at Big Walnut High School (OH). (06/26)
