Move-In Day Schedule for New Students

Welcome to Oh-Wooo! 
The following schedule is subject to change.

Thursday, August 14, 2025

8 a.m. - 1 p.m. – All new students arrive and go through the New Student Check-In process, and residential students will then move into their residence hall.
Residential Life will be sending more information about move-in. New students who need to arrive early due to camps or programs will be contacted by their coach or program coordinator with their move-in information. 

11 a.m.-3 p.m. – Block Party (Smith Hall Patio) sponsored by Hall Council

1-3 p.m. – Receptions 
Different areas (i.e., Woltemade Economics and Business Fellows, Legacy Families, Bishop Elevate (first-gen students), etc.) may choose to hold receptions. Invites to receptions will be sent directly to students and families.

3:30-5 p.m. – Bishop Welcome (Branch Rickey Arena) / Convocation / First Lap

5-5:30 p.m. – Sweet Beginnings
Enjoy a sweet treat with your family on the JAYwalk by the fountain at the conclusion of the First Lap
*Sponsored by the Office of Alumni & Family Engagement

5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Free Time / Say Goodbye to Families
The rest of the program is for new students only.

6:45-8 p.m. – Camp Oh-Wooo Meeting (students only) Check-in begins at 6:30, the meeting will begin promptly at 6:45. 

8:15-9:15 p.m. – Residential Floor Meeting (students only)
