The Department of Comparative Literature concludes its week of special events with a Chat with the Chair!

Professor Anne Sokolsky discusses George Sokolsky and the Bolsheviks: “Writing the Revolution: A Granddaughter’s Tale.” George Sokolsky was a journalist in China during the turbulent decades of the 1920s and 1930s, says Professor Sokolsky, and he later became a syndicated columnist in over 200 newspapers in the United States during the heyday of print journalism.
