Korie L. Edwards, Ph.D., associate professor of sociology at The Ohio State University, will present “Pursuing the Dream,” in Room 301 of Merrick Hall, 65 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.
Edwards is a leading scholar of race and religion in the United States. Her books include “The Elusive Dream: The Power of Race in Interracial Churches” and “Against All Odds: The Struggle for Racial Integration in Religious Organizations.”OWU’s Gospel Lyres will lead the audience in singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Admission is free.
