Overpeck, Ph.D., will discuss global climate change, water security, and ecosystem disruption in the context of "higher scientific confidence than you might think."

He will speak at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in Benes Rooms A and B of OWU's Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware.

The Eddy Lecture is a living memorial to former student John Kennard "Jeff" Eddy, who was killed by a reckless driver in 1988. The event is sponsored by the OWU International Studies Program and the Department of Politics and Government.
