Artifice

“Artifice,” written by 1987 Ohio Wesleyan graduate Anne Flanagan and directed by Ohio Wesleyan faculty member Bonnie Milne Gardner, will be performed in the Studio Theatre of Chappelear Drama Center, 45 Rowland Ave., Delaware. Eight wacky characters get snowed in during a gallery reception in upstate New York, and hilarity erupts over mistaken identity, secret schemes, jealous lovers, and financial ruin. Winner of three national comedy awards, Flanagan’s hilarious romp is a farcical take on celebrity and an affectionate tribute to loyalty and love. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for senior citizens, Ohio Wesleyan employees, and non-Ohio Wesleyan students. Admission is free for Ohio Wesleyan students with a valid OWU ID.
