OWU Creating Writing faculty Amy Butcher (essayist) and David Caplan (poet) will read from their new books and join in conversation with new and current students about the Creative Writing curriculum. Butcher, M.F.A., is the author of the forthcoming book “Mothertrucker,” which explores the silent epidemic of intimate partner violence. Caplan, Ph.D., is the author of seven books, most recently “Into My Garden,” which largely explores life in a Chassidic yeshiva, an institute for the study of Jewish texts.
