Martha Park, author of "World Without End: Essays on Apocalypse and After," participates in a book reading and signing, in the Milligan Room of Slocum Hall, 75 S. Sandusky St., Delaware. Park is a 2011 Ohio Wesleyan graduate, and her book is an illustrated collection of essays exploring the intersections of faith, motherhood, and the climate crisis across the South. Park earned her Master of Fine Arts from the Jackson Center for Creative Writing at Hollins University. Her collaborative illustrated journalism won an EPPY Award for Best Use of Data/Infographics, and she was a finalist for the Institute for Nonprofit News' Insight Award for Visual Journalism. Her writing, graphic essays, and illustrations have appeared in Orion, Oxford American, The Guardian, Guernica, The Bitter Southerner, Granta, Ecotone, ProPublica, and elsewhere. Her reading, part of the Department of English's Visiting Writers Series, will be followed by a question-and-answer session and book signing. Admission is free.
