7 p.m. September 20, 2019 – Faculty concert featuring James Hildreth playing the 4,644-pipe Rexford Keller Memorial Organ, in Gray Chapel inside University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.

The free program will include works by German composers in honor of the Klais organ in Gray Chapel, which was built in Bonn, Germany. The program also will include works celebrating the Moon.

To highlight OWU’s commitment to cultural diversity, the program will include music by composers representing a wide range of traditions and styles, from Russia, Nigeria, Taiwan, Canada, Mexico, the United States, and other countries of Europe. "The music will showcase the copious colors and sonic splendor of the Klais organ," says Hildreth, who has been the organist for the Broad Street Presbyterian Church in Columbus since 1987. He also is the organist for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and has and played with the Columbus Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra under Timothy Russel.
