Chappelear Drama Center | Main Stage

“Fahrenheit 451” by Ray Bradbury. The award-winning author adapted his powerful novel for the stage and presents an intense vision of a future where books are illegal. His insightful drama depicts the struggle of a professional book-burner, a “fireman,” who comes to realize the danger of his work. Will he risk everything for the right to think and communicate ideas?

Directed by faculty member D. Glen Vanderbilt Jr., “Fahrenheit 451” will be performed on the Main Stage inside Ohio Wesleyan’s Chappelear Drama Center, 45 Rowland Ave., Delaware.
