Chappelear Drama Center | Main Stage

The OWU Department of Theatre & Dance will present four performances of "Inter/Sect," a student-generated and devised theatrical event, at 8 p.m. Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Oct. 3, and at 2 p.m. Oct. 4.

The year 2020 has brought enormous upheavals to our society and way of life. The Theatre & Dance department's response to these events is to allow students to present their unique individual perspectives and reactions to what has and is still occurring all around us. This entirely new theatrical work will showcase student-generated monologues, scenes, and other creative forms in a thought-provoking and powerful work that is sure to be a memorable experience.

The show's devising process and on-stage performance are being directed by Ares Harper, OWU Class of '19.

The production is hopeful that it will be able to seat a small number of live audience members for the performances, which will occur on the Chappelear Drama Center Main Stage, 45 Rowland Ave., Delaware.

To give wider accessibility, the show will be recorded and live-streamed out for viewing online. Watch owu.edu/Theatre&Dance for more details.
