Yes, J.P Olsen is coming to OWU on Friday Feb 14!

JP Olsen is an Emmy and Peabody Award winning filmmaker, writer, journalist and musician. He is currently a director of original programming at HBO and an adjunct professor of journalism at Columbia University. In addition to his work  at HBO, where he oversaw all VICE and VICE News Tonight programs, his independent documentaries and experimental films have shown at dozens of festivals and museums around the world. His experimental film, STAN, was made while he was an artist in residence at the MacDowell Colony in 2019, and premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. He is also the co-author of "The Narcotic Farm," which is being republished this fall by The University of Kentucky Press. He was born and raised in Ohio and is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.
