Chappelear Drama Center | Main Stage

“New Student Scenes” featuring promising Ohio Wesleyan newcomers in scenes staged by the directing class, on the Main Stage inside Chappelear Drama Center, 45 Rowland Ave., Delaware.

This year, 14 incoming students will present seven short scenes from a variety of late 19th and early 20th century plays. The scenes are from Oscar Wilde’s "The Importance of Being Earnest"; George Bernard Shaw’s "Overruled" and "How He Lied to Her Husband"; Henrik Ibsen’s "The Master Builder"; Alfred Sutro’s "The Man on the Kerb"; Bjornstjerne Bjornson’s "The Newlyweds"; and Anton Chekhov’s "The Proposal."
