Schimmel/Conrades Science Center | Atrium

Open to OWU students, faculty, and staff, Ohio Wesleyan has been enjoying the annual President’s Ball since 1985, when it was created at the suggestion of sophomore Gay (Johnson) Grossman ’88 in response to a 1985 retreat held by then-university President David Warren to discuss campus-community building.

Johnson planned the formal event and later ended up marrying her date, Steve Grossman ’87.

These days, the event is planned and executed by the OWU President’s Club and features refreshments, music, dancing, and a cocktail hour for the senior class. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

Student tickets are $5. All faculty and staff are invited to attend for at no cost. This year's theme will be Under the Stars. Tickets are now on sale in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center atrium during lunch hour.
