The Fulbright Research Experience from a 2024 Winner

Mayukha Dyta, OWU '24, won the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship in spring 2024. Through the Fulbright-Nehru Student Research grant, Mayukha conducted independent research in Goa, India, in 2025. A Pre-Medicine and Sociology/Anthropology double major and a Chemistry and Women's and Gender Studies double minor while at OWU, Mayukha combined her knowledge of the natural sciences and social sciences to conduct anthropological research on traditional medical practices in India. Mayukha is now in medical school at Ohio State University. Come learn about Mayukha's exciting research and experience as a Fulbright Scholar, and see how you can apply her approaches and wisdom to your own OWU pathways!
