Partnering with Incarcerated Students
11-11:45 a.m.
LOCATION: R.W. Corns Building 312

In this panel, current OWU students will share their experiences in philosophy courses in which they have learned together with currently incarcerated students. The students will share projects in which they worked collaboratively with incarcerated learning partners to provoke new perspectives on U.S. prisons and the people inside them. Students and the course instructor will also introduce you to a philosophy course that meets at Marion prison. The OWU students, along with a currently incarcerated student who will be calling in from prison, will discuss why they like taking class together and will answer all your questions about these classes.
