What's Going On? Understanding ICE and Community Responses
3-3:45 p.m.
LOCATION: Schimmel/Conrades Science Center 211
Are you curious about what is happening in Minneapolis, Columbus, Springfield, and elsewhere? What is ICE? How does immigration enforcement work? Who is being targeted and why? How are communities responding to ICE enforcement actions? Come join a panel of your professors to learn more about current events. How do they fit into the history of immigration enforcement and political protest? What's different about this current moment?
What's going on? is a recurring series that offers opportunities for OWU faculty, staff, and students to learn more about current events and discuss them in a respectful, non-partisan environment.
