Spanish and Public Health: Community Connections and Experiences
9-9:40 a.m.
LOCATION: Schimmel/Conrades Science Center 211

The OWU Public Health program is growing quickly and one of the most exciting areas of growth is in collaboration with community agencies that serve our local Hispanic and Latine communities. The students in this panel have taken a co-taught Spanish and Public Health course with Dr Eva Paris Huesca and Dr. Chris Fink where they gained experience working with community members and using their Spanish language proficiency. The students will share more about their experiences and how they hope to continue work in this area.
