Japan: Fostering Global Connections, Cultural Engagement, and Community Building
9-9:45 a.m.
LOCATION: Schimmel/Conrades Science Center 211

Eleven travelers explored Japan through the real-world application of language learning, with an emphasis on individualized academic goals across multiple disciplines. During this 10-day project, participants visited locations ranging from the major metropolitan city of Tokyo to the rural northern town of Sakata City. Throughout the trip, they engaged in in-person dialogues, participated in shared cultural activities, and built meaningful connections through institutional learning exchanges between Ohio Wesleyan University students and Japanese colleges.
