"I'm an OWU graduate, class of 1995. I've been working at OWU since 1997 and love what I do. Working for my alma mater and being able to share my experiences with prospective students/families is what I enjoy most about being an admission counselor."

A Little Bit About Me
I'm married, with two kids, three cats, a dog (Australian Shepherd), several chickens and thousands of honey bees (we recently took up beekeeping as a hobby and currently have nine hives).
My daughter, Chase, is a recent OWU grad (what? how did that happen) and majored in Zoology and Environmental Studies, with a minor in Geography. She was also a pole vaulter on the OWU track team. She is currently living her best life, putting her Zoology degree to use at the Columbus Zoo. My son, Jackson, attended OWU for a year but is taking some time off to work and save money. He is an avid snowboarder and enjoys frisbee golf and regular golf as well as various card and computer games.
Our family loves traveling, camping and kayaking, skiing and snowboarding, and other outdoorsy activities. We recently moved to the country and love the peaceful environment, the awesome sunrises and sunsets, and some room to move (the chickens especially love that). In my spare time, I enjoy running and attending various exercise classes. I've run lots of races, including several half marathons and 2 full marathons!
As the Director of Admission, I really enjoy getting to know students/families and helping them through what can be a tumultuous college search process. A favorite moment for me is seeing a student I've worked with graduate four years later as a different, more mature, more worldly adult, and knowing that I played a role (even if only a small one) in that student's transformation.
