The President's Circle is a select group of alumni, parents, and friends who share a particular interest in Ohio Wesleyan University and who focus on strategic initiatives selected by the president. Members generously commit to investing $10,000 a year above and beyond their gifts to the Ohio Wesleyan Fund and other initiatives.
Colleges That Change Lives – Ohio Wesleyan Summary
President's Circle members provided the momentum for Ohio Wesleyan's unique Theory-to-Practice grants, which send students throughout world to conduct research that is often multidisciplinary in character. Students encounter global issues in new ways and emerge from these experiences with a wider world view and a greater understanding of multifaceted international concerns. They are more prepared to take their places as the global leaders of the 21st century.
President's Circle members also have supported important curricular initiatives that will position Ohio Wesleyan to take its place as a national exemplar in liberal arts education. The President's Circle also led the effort to enhance incoming students' first-year experience and to upgrade the University's technology infrastructure.
As new needs are uncovered, the President's Circle will be in the vanguard of supporting Ohio Wesleyan with the funds and counsel necessary to keep the University the exceptional institution it is today—and will be tomorrow.
