Service Camp

You and your small group will spend time volunteering in the Delaware and Columbus communities. During the evenings you can look forward to meals with your new friends, games, small group conversations, laughter, and reflections on the day's experiences!

WHERE?

 All participants who are living on-campus during the school year will move-in and will reside on-campus in their assigned residence hall rooms during Service Camp. Commuter students will commute to and from campus for Service Camp each day. The service projects will take place off-campus (transportation provided), as well as in and around Delaware and Columbus. Meals and other fun activities designed to bond with your small group and other students will occur back on-campus when you are not off-campus at service sites.

WHEN?

Move-in: Thursday, August 14

Move into residence halls at OWU and take a little time to get your room set up! Later that afternoon all new-to-OWU students and families celebrate the start of their OWU collegiate experience with welcome programs! We will have a Service Camp meeting in the evening to go over logistics and what to expect.
