Community Film Series: 'Winter's Bone'

Amid the hardscrabble rural poverty of the Missouri Ozarks, Ree must locate her missing father in order to save her family’s home. Her crystal meth-addicted uncle Teardrop (John Hawkes) gives her what help he can in ascertaining his brother’s whereabouts.

"Winter's Bone" is part of the Community Film Series at The Strand Theatre. General admission is $7 and admission with an OWU I.D. is $6. The Community Film Series is sponsored by the English Department at Ohio Wesleyan University.
