Mock Convention 2016

Gray Chapel will once again be adorned in red, white and blue, filled with students, alumni, faculty, staff and guests for our February 5-6 Mock Convention—an OWU tradition since 1884.

This lively event provides opportunities to debate party platforms and nominate presidential tickets.  In order to ensure the most lively debate possible, the quadrennial Mock Convention features the party not currently in control of the White House. Our intent is to draw attention towards the Republican Party of the future, as well as highlight the historical legacy of the Party.

Join us as we take on the roles of Republican Party members and debate the potential future of the Party.
