Twelve Ohio Wesleyan Students Selected as 2025-2026 Accounting and Finance Fellows

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Woltemade Center for Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship at Ohio Wesleyan University has selected 12 students as 2025-2026 Accounting and Finance Fellows. Being selected as fellows gives the students access to enhanced internship, research, and other opportunities.

Ohio Wesleyan's 2025-2026 Accounting and Finance Fellows are:

  • Connor Asbury of Columbus, Ohio. Asbury is a Finance major.
  • Chris Burns of Grove City, Ohio. Burns is an Accounting major and a Business minor.
  • Isaiah Deleon of Houston, Texas. Deleon is a Business Administration (Management) and Finance major and a Data Analytics minor.
  • Jackie Harper of Henderson, Nevada. Harper is a Finance major and Business minor.
  • Jera Hoy of Radnor, Ohio. Hoy is an Accounting major.
  • Nagomi Katano of Nagoya-Shi, Japan. Katano is an Accounting major.
  • Jameson Myers of Mansfield, Ohio. Myers is a Business Administration (Marketing) and Finance major and a Data and Society minor.
  • Tim Root of North Royalton, Ohio. Root is a Finance Economics major and an Accounting minor.
  • Owen Tornow of Painesville, Ohio. Tornow is an Accounting major.
  • Thy Tran of Columbus, Ohio. Tran is a Data Analytics and Accounting major and an Economics minor.
  • Natalie VanMeter of Fredericktown, Ohio. VanMeter is an Accounting and Economics major.
  • Aiden Veerjee of Johnstown, Ohio. Veerjee is a Quantitative Economics major and a Finance and Geography minor.

As fellows, the students complete faculty-escorted study trips funded by The Woltemade Center to locations of significance in the fields of accounting or finance.

They also complete at least one accounting or finance internship as well as an external professional development activity, such as a leadership program, conference, or business tour.

In addition, they have access to funds to enable them to join professional organizations tied to their career interests.
