Why I Chose This Experience
“I had been reflecting on my past three years at Ohio Wesleyan, and I found myself at ‘ease’ in my recollection of a university that has made me feel so comfortable and right at home. It was amid this reflection that I realized I had yet to push my creative boundaries and step outside of my comfort zone.
“So, in the months that followed, I started to challenge myself and diverge from Pre-Law in order to work toward my passion for film. I figured there is no better way to explore this passion than to work in NYC!”
My Favorite Moment
“One of my favorite experiences was learning from and talking to filmmaker Zach Treitz about his upcoming Netflix Docuseries. I found it very valuable to be able to speak to someone who is successful in the film industry and be able to hear an honest testimony of their experiences.”
Lessons Learned
“This program gave me the opportunity to combine my liberal arts education with real-world experiences. I loved applying the knowledge I acquired from classes at OWU to my internships.
“This experience gave me a peek into the fast-approaching post-graduate life that I will soon be facing and successfully tackling after having learned to navigate the professional world.”

“I plan to pursue a career in the film industry, and I have also considered going to law school after a few years to pursue entertainment law once I have gained more job experience.”
