Ohio Wesleyan to Host Fifth Annual ‘A Cappellooza’ Nov. 4

Concert to Feature The Filharmonic from ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ and NBC’s ‘The Sing-Off’

DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Wesleyan University will host the fifth annual “A Cappellooza” voices-only showcase at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 in Gray Chapel in University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.

The concert will feature classic rock songs performed by student a cappella groups from Ohio Wesleyan University, Wittenberg University, and more.

The event also will feature a performance by the a cappella group The Filharmonic. This five-piece vocal group made the semi-finals on NBC’s “The Sing-Off” and were featured in the 2015 feature film “Pitch Perfect 2.”

Tickets to A Cappellooza are $5 for general admission if reserved before the concert by contacting Ohio Wesleyan’s Campus Programming Board at cpb@owu.edu. Please include your name, telephone number, and number of tickets requested. You may pick up tickets ordered in advance during Main Street Delaware’s Nov. 3 First Friday. You will need a photo ID.

Tickets will be $7 at the door and $3 for senior citizens, children, and non-OWU students with valid student IDs. The concert will be free for Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg students and OWU employees with valid university IDs.
