Ohio Wesleyan to Host Fifth Annual ‘A Cappellooza’ Nov. 4

Concert to Feature The Filharmonic from ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ and NBC’s ‘The Sing-Off’

DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Wesleyan University will host the fifth annual “A Cappellooza” voices-only showcase at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 in Gray Chapel in University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.

The concert will feature classic rock songs performed by student a cappella groups from Ohio Wesleyan University, Wittenberg University, and more.

The event also will feature a performance by the a cappella group The Filharmonic. This five-piece vocal group made the semi-finals on NBC’s “The Sing-Off” and were featured in the 2015 feature film “Pitch Perfect 2.”

Tickets to A Cappellooza are $5 for general admission if reserved before the concert by contacting Ohio Wesleyan’s Campus Programming Board at Please include your name, telephone number, and number of tickets requested. You may pick up tickets ordered in advance during Main Street Delaware’s Nov. 3 First Friday. You will need a photo ID.

Tickets will be $7 at the door and $3 for senior citizens, children, and non-OWU students with valid student IDs. The concert will be free for Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg students and OWU employees with valid university IDs.
