Ohio Wesleyan Taps 15 First-Year Students for Membership in National Honor Society

DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Wesleyan University inducted 15 first-year students into its chapter of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society this spring. Phi Eta Sigma is the nation's oldest and largest honor society for first-year college students in all disciplines.

Phi Eta Sigma recognizes first-year students who take a full academic course load and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.50 during their first year on campus. Founded in 1923, the honor society's motto is "Knowledge is Power." It is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and currently has six regional and 176 on-campus chapters nationwide.
