“Traveling to Berlin for nine days, allowed us to observe, interview, and document immigrant artists from around the world, who have traveled to Berlin to participate in its political, subversive, and experimental arts scene. Exploring how people with different cultural concerns and identities can come to a politically and historically charged space and respond meaningfully, was central to our research.

“Going to Berlin was a wonderful opportunity to meet engaging and inspiring artists and to find new ways to challenge my own body of work.”
