You can also design your signature experience with guidance from faculty who care about your future. This can be the culmination of your OWU experience – and your connection to a better future.
Build your connections to the professional world with internships from New York museums, to the Mayo Clinic, to San Francisco investment firms. We offer major programs like New York Arts and Wesleyan in Washington as well as individual internships with hands-on support from Career Connection.

Ohio Wesleyan has a loyal network of thousands of alumni working as leaders in almost every field. Many alumni provide internships for Ohio Wesleyan students - from public relations in New York to financial management in San Francisco.
OWU manages the New York Arts Program, which allows students to spend a semester in the art capital of the world. Each student has an on-the-job experience with NYC professionals in various artistic fields. Recently, OWU students have interned with the New York Shakespeare Festival, Dance Magazine, Broadway productions, sci-fi and fantasy book publisher DAW Books, and with artists and other arts organizations.
The Wesleyan in Washington Program is an intensive, full-time internship experience. The semester-long program matches students with an internship that reflects their interests and professional goals. We also help arrange for students' participation in a multitude of Washington, D.C., activities that allow you to take full advantage of being in the city.
