Transfer students have the same opportunities for scholarships as first year students. There are a variety of options for transfer students in terms of scholarship, based on where you are transferring from, how much college credit you have completed, and your GPA in the college credit courses you have completed so far.

General Scholarship

Students will be evaluated based on their current GPA and the amount of college credit they have completed in order to receive their merit based aid. Click here to see general merit scholarship standards for university admission. 

Columbus State Scholarships

Columbus State Scholarships are available to students transferring from Columbus state who have a 3.0 GPA or higher.  

Students who have a 3.0-3.49 receive 22,000 per year while student with a 3.5 or higher receive 24,000 per year. 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships are avaiable to students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa.  Their merit scholarship is about 20,000 per year.
