2018 Homecoming & Family Weekend

Annual Event Celebrates All Things Ohio Wesleyan!

More than 1,000 people helped to celebrate Homecoming & Family Weekend Oct. 5-7 at Ohio Wesleyan University.

A homecoming highlight was the return of the OWU Marching Band, which performed at half time during the football game against the Kenyon Lords.

Another highlight was the outstanding gridiron performance by the Battling Bishops, who defeated the Lords 49-7.

During the game, the crowd also cheered on the newest inductees into the OWU Athletics Hall of Fame and the recipients of the OWU Team of Distinction award.

This year’s homecoming also recognized the 60th anniversary of OWU men’s lacrosse and the 100th anniversary of the Department of Psychology with special events.

And leading up to the weekend, Ohio Wesleyan invited the community to campus for the opening of The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at Ohio Wesleyan University.
