Lessons Learned

“Through this experience, I have been able to learn more about investments, how Schwab operates and the retirement industry as a whole through different projects.

“I have loved all the challenges that my projects have brought, and my managers have been extremely supportive in helping me overcome them.

“Further, as an employee in the Charles Schwab Intern Academy, I have been able to meet and network with many executives within the company. Conversing with prominent leaders in the company has allowed me to understand Schwab's emphasis on culture better and network with amazing people.

“Overall, my time here has allowed me to apply my knowledge from college into real-life scenarios in a meaningful and rewarding manner. My experience at Charles Schwab has been a fantastic journey, and I cannot wait to see where it takes me!”

My Favorite Moment

“My favorite moment at Schwab has been working on our final project that all the interns will present at the end of our internship. The final project is very thought-provoking, and I have greatly enjoyed working with my fellow interns to collect, interpret data, and figure out how to present it.

“I love being able to work on meaningful projects that are relevant to the industry, and I am excited to be able to present our findings.”

Why I Chose Ohio Wesleyan

“I applied to Ohio Wesleyan because my mother is an OWU alum. I chose OWU because I loved the idea of truly getting to know your professors as well as the EMF (Economics Management Fellows) program. Ohio Wesleyan definitely did not disappoint.”

My Plans After Graduation

“As my interests continue to evolve, I do not have any specific plans after graduation other than to get a job.”
