New Chapter

BibliU to Operate Ohio Wesleyan's Campus Store, Oversee Digital Course Materials Program

DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Wesleyan University is collaborating with BibliU – a leading provider of fully integrated campus store solutions – to operate the OWU Campus Store, including an optional program for students to rent digital course materials each semester.

Beginning June 23, BibliU will begin providing Ohio Wesleyan's in-person and online campus retail experience. As part of the transition, BibliU will implement its Equitable Access (EA) program to enable OWU students to obtain their digital course materials at a cost of $68 per item.

By integrating directly with Blackboard, the university's learning management system, students will be able to seamlessly access required course content to support their academic success.

Students using the optional Equitable Access program will also have access to a comprehensive set of study tools – including in-text annotations and highlighting and text-to-speech tools – all within a framework that meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and enhances accessibility for all.

As part of the new collaboration, BibliU will enhance Ohio Wesleyan's campus store operations by launching a refreshed physical retail space alongside an accessible and intuitive e-commerce website. BibliU will curate products intended to reflect OWU's culture and values.

Students and other shoppers will have easy access to printed course materials, branded merchandise, including apparel and memorabilia to promote school spirit, as well as practical items such as office and art supplies.

"Through this partnership, we're proud to support OWU students with affordable, first-day access to course materials, empowering their interdisciplinary education across 70 majors and helping them make a real-world impact," said Dave Sherwood, CEO of BibliU.

"Ohio Wesleyan is committed to providing top-quality service to everyone visiting our campus store and to helping our students access the course materials they need for academic success on day one of classes," said Rick Fletcher, OWU's procurement director. "BibliU's more than 50 years of experience in these realms will help us to meet these important goals."
