Ohio Wesleyan University makes provision for students of unusual ability or preparation who desire to accelerate the time required to earn a degree. For this reason, students who plan to enter Ohio Wesleyan are encouraged to take the Advanced Placement (AP) examinations of the College Board. Advanced Placement and / or college credit may be awarded in relation to scores earned and departmental standards.

How do my Advanced Placement scores apply at OWU?

For details on how your Advanced Placement scores translate to college credit at Ohio Wesleyan, consult our TES Public View Tool (search for College Board in the institution search field) and the College Board's Advanced Placement AP Credit Policy Search Tool.

How do I request my Advanced Placement Scores?

To receive the college credit you are due for your efforts, you'll need to have your official AP scores sent to Ohio Wesleyan through the College Board Website. Navigate to the 'AP Scores' section of your College Board account to have your official results sent to the Office of the Registrar - Transfer Specialist (transfer@owu.edu). Note: Unofficial reports, such as a screenshot of your scores, are not accepted.
