Are you passionate about helping your fellow students? As a 'RegiStar' Student Guide, you'll be a vital peer resource, helping students navigate the administrative side of college. While you'll support the Registrar's Office with key administrative tasks, your main focus is on providing guidance and assistance to your peers. It's a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a tangible difference for the student community.


What You'll Do

  • Empower Peers: Serve as a frontline guide, helping your fellow students understand and resolve common issues related to registration, academic records, and graduation.

  • Provide Expert Guidance: Use your knowledge and training to direct students and other members of the campus community to the right resources.

  • Contribute to a Seamless Experience: Assist with essential office tasks, like reviewing documents and processing student requests, to ensure all administrative processes run smoothly.

  • Engage in Meaningful Projects: Work on special projects that directly improve the student experience, such as updating student-facing guides or conducting research on student needs.

Supervisor Title: University Registrar
Approx. Weekly Hours: 4-10 hours
Hourly Rate of Pay: $10.70 (Ohio minimum wage)

If you have never worked on campus before, you must submit the original of either your social security card, passport, or birth certificate to the Student Employment Office before you are eligible to start work.

International Students: please take your passport to the IOCP Office and they will assist you. If you do not already have a Social Security Number, the IOCP Office will need to arrange for this appointment. You are required to have applied for a Social Security Number prior to your first day of work.
