What happens when classroom learning meets community need? Hear directly from students who completed their GenEd CX requirement by tutoring students K-6 in reading and mathematics. Panelists will discuss the transformative nature of mentorship, lessons learned on the ground, and the value of community-engaged learning. 

The Bishop Scholars Program provides an innovative approach to providing both an experiential teaching and learning experience, while also engaging in service learning, away from campus. Bishop Scholars provides intentional tutoring in Mathematics and Reading to kindergarten through sixth-grade youth who have fallen behind academically.
