A Welcoming Place
With the news of any higher learning institution closing its doors, Ohio Wesleyan offers a welcoming place for students in transition.
Students of St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Ind., we stand with you. You have our support and a perfect place to finish at Ohio Wesleyan.
Ohio Wesleyan is reaching out to the students of St. Joseph's and will match any institutional grants and scholarships (excluding athletic scholarships) plus an additional $6,000 transfer award per year (renewable).*
St. Joseph's students interested in transferring to Ohio Wesleyan University will need to apply for admission using either the Transfer Common Application or the OWU Online Application.
Each year, dozens of students transfer to OWU. They come from colleges and universities around the globe and find a community of students who are passionate and involved. Professors serve as mentors, partners in research, and friends.
Students who transfer to OWU enjoy:
- A campus culture who gives back–OWU students dedicated 40,000 hours to local, national, and international causes last year
- A historic campus with more than 200 beautiful acres
- A lively town of 38,000 residents with nearly 25 nearby restaurants (and no traffic jams!)
- Affordable and unique study-abroad opportunities
- Great internships
- Nearly 100 clubs and organizations, from faith-based groups to men's and women's rugby
- 23 varsity athletic teams
- Comfortable housing, easy affordable parking, and flexible meal plans
