Black Camera: An International Film Journal invites symposium participants and scholars to submit articles for a Close-Up entitled A Wide Shot: Expanding the Frame on Melvin Van Peebles. This collection of essays aims to expand the scope of research on Van Peebles by addressing works that have received little attention and broaden film historical research on Melvin and his filmmaking.
