"I transferred in looking for a greater sense of inclusion, of community and of accomplishment. OWU had the power to make me want to reach for more and to give me something to grasp. It's this that I enjoyed most about OWU after transferring."
"I jumped onto the opportunity to expand my ideas with two Theory-Into-Practice Grants, to explore a new side of the world with a Travel-Learning course, to connect a life goal to my Environmental Studies major with help from a SIP grant, to gain new perspectives and expertise on cultures of the world by studying abroad, and to find myself in the wilderness with a Wilderness Trek."
Meet John Sotos '17
"Being an athlete and transferring to Ohio Wesleyan, I was eager to help contribute to a successuful all-around athletic program. I first arrived to campus nervous and excited, but within hours I realized I had instantly found my second family, and they pushed me to the best of my ability."
"I chose Ohio Wesleyan over the other universities I was looking into because of the academic rigor and the culture of the cross country and track and field program. I know I made the right choice."

Elizabeth Jackson '17
"I transferred to OWU because I wanted to find mentoring relationships with my professors, travel opportunities, and an education that would truly prepare me for the future. I have found all three here at OWU. My transfer process was very simple. All of my previous classes transferred, I was placed with two new roommates, and I found a campus job in the admissions office. I have had amazing opportunities since then, including research, conferences, externships, leadership experience, and study abroad. My semester abroad in Rome was truly life-changing. My perspective of the world completely shifted to a global scale. I visited places all over Europe and met people from all different backgrounds."
