Mowry Alumni Center (temporary location)
Delaware, Ohio 43015
Ohio Wesleyan University's goal is to offer the most positive experience to all visitors on our campus while maintaining a safe living, learning, and working environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
Admission and Financial Aid offices and staff have moved temporarily to Mowry Alumni Center located just west of Sandusky Street in the center of campus. Parking is available at the corner of Park Avenue and Sandusky Street (the marked spaces for guests in this lot face Sandusky Street.)
So that we can offer a positive visit experience, we prefer that you register for a campus visit in advance. Walk-in visitors will only be accommodated if we have an opening our one of our daily tours. If no space is available, you will be given the opportunity to take a self-guided tour, complete with QR codes for views inside our buildings. Self-guided tour maps are available on the map kiosk by the clock tower near Sturges Hall.
Campus Tours will be offered four times daily Monday – Friday with up to eight families per scheduled tour time. Campus tours will walk the exterior campus and tour the interior of select buildings. Twilight Tours are also offered for your convenience on select Thursdays and Fridays evenings. These tours are student-led; there are no Admission staff available at this time.
An information session will accompany your campus tour, providing additional information about Ohio Wesleyan and the admission process. We will continue to offer Virtual Information Sessions throughout the week.
Ohio Wesleyan does offer or require interviews for admission. However, we do offer the opportunity to have a “Conversation with a Counselor” to ask additional questions and get more insight about OWU. We will do our best to accommodate requests for Conversations based on staff availability.
Face coverings are no longer required on tours. Visitors who are not vaccinated are required to wear a mask while indoors. Vaccinated visitors and staff are encouraged to do what they are most comfortable with regarding their own mask usage. Physical distancing is not required during info sessions or events.
We will offer bottled water to keep you hydrated during your visit. Unfortunately, no other refreshments can be provided at this time.
We are unable to provide on-campus dining options at this time. However, there are a number of restaurants in downtown Delaware that offer both in-person dining as well as take-out. If you need recommendations, just ask the students and/or staff on duty.
