About

Dr. Dailey is the Vice President of Marketing & Communicatons, and former Warren C. Fairbanks Endowed Chair of the Department of Journalism & Communication, at Ohio Wesleyan University. Prior to making the decision to enter academia, Dr. Dailey worked in visual merchandising and has technical experience with copywriting, and the use of emerging technologies in creative messaging and/or corporate branding.

She previously taught courses for the Communication and Public Health majors and serves as a lead instructor in OWU's Summer Bridge Program. She serves on the University's DEI Council and and co-chairs the bi-annual Melvin Van Peebles Symposium

Dr. Dailey's research focuses on health disparities among immigrant, refugee, and other historically minoritized populations in the areas of sexually transmitted infection (STI) and cancer prevention--with an emphasis on assessing the role of mass media, interpersonal communication, and social identity in health decision-making. She served on OWU's Institutional Review Board (IRB) for seven years.
