The Student Involvement Office offers two leadership retreats for organizations each year - one in the fall and one in the spring. Learn more about each below and how you can get involved. These valuable experiences help strengthen organizations' knowledge of campus resources, encourages collaboration, and help prepare them to thrive!

GO! (Get Organized) OWU 

Fall Semester - Saturday, Sepember 21 

This retreat provides current organizationleaders with an opportunity to sharpen their personal leadership skills, learn how to's (such as reserving rooms on campus, obtaining funds for their organization, etc.), and set their club up for a successful year.

The president and treasurer from each student organization are required to attend. 

OWU Summit 

Spring Semester - Thursday, February 19

The OWU Summit is an annual student organization training that focuses on a specific  leadership theme. It provides an opportunity for leaders to sharpen their skills and learn more in depth about the topic. Participants are encouraged to bring information to their organizations to ensure members have the tools and information they need to be effective leaders. 

Two members from each organization are required to attend.
