Since 2007, Ohio Wesleyan has hosted a programming contest for local colleges in the area in the spring. Teams of up to four students work together to solve a collection of programming problems.

We will be holding the 13th annual OWU Programing contest on Saturday, April 6, 2019. We hope to see you there!

All parts of the contest will be held in the Math/CS Department in the Schimmel/Conrades Science Center. The Math/CS Department is located in the northernmost of the two buildings that comprise the science center, Bigelow-Rice Hall. On the OWU Campus Map, the Schimmel/Conrades Science Center is depicted as building #52.

To get to our building, follow the driving directions on the OWU Campus Map to get to campus. Then, follow S. Henry St. (sometimes called “Branch Rickey Way” past Selby Stadium (OWU’s football field). There’s a parking lot just south of the football field that you can use. Across the street from the parking lot, you’ll see two buildings separated by stairs (both buildings are connected by a walkway, and form the science center). Enter the building on the right, and go to the top floor. Our floor is pretty small, so once you’re up here you won’t be able to miss us.

If you find yourself in a large building with a big central open area, you’re probably in the wrong half of the science center.
