Championship Teams

Field Hockey

Ohio Wesleyan finished the year as NCAC Regular Season Tri-Champions, splitting the title with Denison and DePauw. The Battling Bishops earned the one-seed in the NCAC Tournament with an 8-1 record in the conference before ending the season at 11-6 following a 2-1 overtime loss in the NCAC Tournament Championship.

Women's Cross Country

The Red and Black secured their first NCAC title in women's cross country with a team score of 43 at the NCAC Championship. Three Bishops crossed the finish line in the top-10 at the conference championship meet, led by NCAC Runner of the Year Zoe Ward '27 in first with a time of 22:10.9. Zoe went on to earn All-Region honors alongside teammates Brianna Montgomery '27, and Sophie Cotts '27 before competing at the NCAA Division III Championship, where she finished 42nd.

Men's Lacrosse

The Battling Bishops collected their 23rd NCAC Championship with an unprecedented five-way tie for first place with Denison, Kenyon, Oberlin, and Wooster—all finishing with a 6-2 conference record. OWU would rise above all with their second-straight and fourth overall NCAC Tournament Championship with a 14-12 semifinal win over Denison and a dominant 12-4 victory at Oberlin in the title game. The Bishops earned their 36th NCAA tournament appearance and faced Grove City in the first round at Selby Stadium, unfortunately ending in a 14-9 loss and leaving their record for the season at 11-7.
