Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to find your zone and enjoy your time at Ohio Wesleyan!

With significant student input, we've created three-step Zone Parking. Here's how it works:

Buy a permit
Display your permit and park in your designated zone.
Enjoy a year free of parking problems.

Where's My Zone?

All OWU parking permits are color- and letter-coded to help you find your zone. Just match your sticker information with the parking lot signage. It's that easy.

First-Year Permits

We're pleased to enable first-year Bishops to bring vehicles to campus! To do this as seamlessly as possible, our first-year lots aren't right beside your residence hall, but you'll be assigned closer spaces as sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

First-year residential student parking permits are valid in matching first-year zones 24/7.
During off-peak hours, you may park in Employee (E) spaces in the Central and Academic areas of campus and in commuter spaces. Spaces that are Individually Reserved or Restricted 24/7 are not valid for Off-Peak Parking.
Off-peak hours Monday-Friday are 3:30 p.m. through 8 a.m. (the next morning).
Off-peak weekend hours are all day Saturday and Sunday.
Please note: The first-year student parking lot adjacent to the new Milligan Library is closed during construction.

North/South Residential Permits

Residential student parking permits are valid in matching residential zones 24/7.
During off-peak hours, you may park in Employee (E) spaces in the Central and Academic areas of campus and in commuter spaces. Spaces that are Individually Reserved or Restricted 24/7 are not valid for Off-Peak Parking.
Off-peak hours Monday-Friday are 3:30 p.m. through 8 a.m. (the next morning).
Off-peak weekend hours are all day Saturday and Sunday.
The overflow lot for both North and South Residential permits is the Jay Martin Soccer Complex lot located off Park Avenue.

Commuter Permits

Commuter student parking permits are valid only in commuter zones during peak hours.
During off-peak hours, you may park in Employee (E) spaces located in the Central and Academic areas of campus. Spaces that are Individually Reserved or Restricted 24/7 are not valid for Off-Peak Parking.
Off-peak weekday hours are 3:30 p.m. through 8 a.m. (the next morning).
Off-peak weekend hours are all day Saturday and Sunday.
Commuter permits are not valid in residential zones at any time.

Employee Permits

Employee parking permits are valid in any employee or commuter zone 24/7.
Employee permits are valid in residential zones, but parking in these spaces is discouraged unless you work inside a residential building.

Visitor and Other Parking

Visitor parking spaces are reserved for guests Monday-Friday during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A small number of Restricted parking spaces are reserved 24/7 for university-owned or operated vehicles to help keep the campus running smoothly.
Food Delivery parking spaces may be occupied by delivery vehicles for no longer than 15 minutes per drop-off.

Multi-Use Lots

A few locations around campus feature multi-use lots. These lots are marked with multiple zones and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Example: The Jay Martin Soccer Complex lot is used primarily for First-Year parking, but Commuter, Student North, and Student South Zone permits are valid there, too.
