Bishop Elevate & IOCP Passport Program

At Ohio Wesleyan, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to connect with the world. Whether you are planning a Travel-Learning Course, a semester of Study Away, or an international internship, the first step is the same: getting your U.S. passport.

The Bishop Elevate | IOCP Passport Program is a collaborative initiative between the Palmer Center for First-Generation Student Success (Bishop Elevate) and the International & Off-Campus Programs (IOCP) office.

We are here to ensure that financial or procedural hurdles don't stand between you and your global goals.

How We Can Help

Applying for a passport can be a daunting process. Our program provides two main pillars of support:

  • Application Guidance: We offer step-by-step assistance to help you navigate the U.S. Department of State's application requirements.

  • Financial Assistance: Eligible students can receive up to $180 to offset the cost of their passport application (including execution fees and photos).

Eligibility & Funding

This program is specifically designed to support OWU First-Gen students who demonstrate a need for assistance in obtaining their first U.S. passport or renewing an expired one.

This initiative is made possible through the generous support of our dedicated donors and the OWU Connection Endowment, reflecting our commitment to making high-impact global experiences accessible to all Bishops.
